Building projects & advice

Church buildings play a vital role in supporting ministry, but they can also bring challenges. You may be dealing with repairs, considering improvements or thinking about how your building could better support your church’s future. Whatever your situation, we aim to provide clear, practical advice to help you take the next step. Building projects are not just about buildings, but about supporting the life and ministry of your church.

How we can help

We support churches at different stages, whether you are:

  • Facing issues with your building such as leaks, deterioration or safety concerns
  • Considering changes to better use or expand your space
  • Planning a building project or development
  • Unsure where to start

Our approach is grounded in a strong understanding of how churches operate — including the practical realities of decision-making, finances and the challenges many churches face.

Planning your building project
If you are thinking about making changes to your building, it can be difficult to know where to begin.
Property surveys and advice
Understanding the condition of your building with a survey is often the first step.
Design and building work
From initial ideas and planning through to design, permissions and construction, we can help you every step of the way.

Support and costs

We have a heart for helping churches make the most of their buildings. For churches in CGT buildings, advice and support is provided as part of our ongoing relationship. For churches not in CGT buildings, we offer professional advice and support for building projects. Initial discussions are often free of charge, with fees agreed where more detailed work is required. Our charges are set to cover our costs rather than to make a profit, helping us provide cost-effective, church-specific support.
