Who we work with

We work with churches who are looking for a building to support their ministry and serve their local community.

Our buildings are typically leased to churches who want to use them for Christian worship and Gospel ministry.

This page explains the types of churches we work with, what we look for when considering an application, and what you can expect if you’d like to explore one of our buildings.

Our priority is to lease buildings to:
  • Evangelical churches
  • Independent churches, and some denominational churches
  • Churches with a focus on Gospel ministry in their community

Every church is different, so we consider each enquiry on its own merits.

Our beliefs

As an evangelical Christian charity, our work is shaped by a clear set of beliefs. In simple terms, this means we are looking to work with churches who:

  • Share a commitment to the authority of the Bible
  • Centre their ministry on Jesus Christ and the Gospel
  • Want to see people reached and communities served
What we look for

When a church expresses interest in a building, we will usually explore:

  • The church’s vision for ministry
  • How the building would be used
  • The ability to take on practical responsibilities and manage the building

We will also want to understand:

  • Your statement of faith and doctrinal position
  • The financial viability of taking on a tenancy
  • The legal structure of the church

This is part of a wider conversation rather than a one-off decision. If you decide to move forward, you will be asked to provide a proposal setting out how you would use the building.

Could this be right for your church?

Your church may be a good fit if you:

  • Are an independent evangelical church
  • Are looking for a building for worship and ministry
  • Have a clear sense of how you would use the building
  • Have an appropriate structure and leadership in place to take on a tenancy

This is not a strict checklist, but a simple guide to help you consider whether one of our buildings could be right for your church.

A shared responsibility

Taking on a building is a significant step for any church.

Churches need to be able to:

  • Care for and maintain the building
  • Demonstrate appropriate governance and financial stability

We will help you understand what is involved so you can decide whether this is the right next step for your church.
